The DC Food Policy Council is transitioning from the DC Office of Planning to DC Health beginning October 1, 2026 and is seeking input to help shape its priorities for the upcoming year and beyond.
WHY IT MATTERS:
Food Policy Councils can connect government, nonprofits, businesses, food entrepreneurs and residents in developing and implementing local food-system policy. Tracking their activities helps identify programs and policies that could be replicated elsewhere.
