It’s World Food Day; How Are You Contributing?

What are you and your company doing to further the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the UN’s Food & Agriculture Organization:
1. No Poverty-The Micro Home Restaurant law reduces poverty by providing talented home cooks an opportunity to earn income.


2. Zero Hunger-Our Chefbnb Social Benefit Enterprise will donate 90% of net profits towards the purchase of healthier choice foods for those in need. Chef Mikey (r) Garahan is offering to prepare 160 free meals a week to play a chefs part in reducing poverty.


3. Good Health and Wellbeing-Chef Mikey proposes a Roasted Vegetable Prescription Program for Seniors, Chef will prepare the Roasted Vegetables and distribute to seniors in need.


4. Quality Education-Our Nutrition Island e-Learning program is part of the Health Enhancement Curriculum in the Bozeman, MT. school system.

7. Affordable and Clean Energy-We support
8. Decent Work and Economic Growth-Micro Home Restaurant law expanded from 60 to 90 meals a week, and increased sales limit to $100 K. Los Angeles County has now opted in.

Many other states are looking into this as a benefit to their communities.

16. Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions-We support more collaboration, move out of Silos.
17. Partnerships for the Goals-For-Profit and nonprofit collaboration as requested by the USDA Community Food Projects Grant.
