The Center for Food Systems, Nutrition Security and Health Integration is coming to the University of Illinois campus.
The goal is to help people access high-quality food by connecting farmers and communities with research. “They also said the center will be used to facilitate food and nutrition education.”
“Put these puzzle pieces together to solve these issues that we’re facing in getting healthy food into the hands of people that need it for the improvement of their health,” said the Executive Director, Jennifer McCaffery.
The center will be in the Doris Kelley Christopher Illinois Extension Center next year.
